Somewhere beyond the mainland,
Far across the sea,
A poet’s paradise waits in the rolling mist,
Of myth and fantasy.

Where the flute sings the words of old,
Collecting symphonies,
And the ferry sails the nymph lakes,
Embracing destinies.

To the valley of the whistling winds,
Words building in the breeze,
Enchanted by the twilight seekers,
Fire’s flickering keys.

They take to flight into the sky,
Rebuilding memories,
Illuminating the poet’s paradise,
For all who wish to believe.

Something little that came to mind, it's nothing really great. More of an experimental piece than anything... a "note" somewhat for thoughts that I may return to later to create a better piece from.
If you read just the regular text (non italics) you pretty much get a poem in iteself. The italics are more-so the whispers, if you will, of the poem itself.
